Cynosure Telecom is a Virtual Enterprises class at Oak Ridge High School in Oak Ridge, TN. We are a virtual company that provides retail products including cellular phones, laptops and AirCards, wireless e-mail devices, minutes, ringtones, and accessories.
| The company includes six departments and consists of 15 employees. Our departments are Accounting, Administration, Human Resources, Purchasing/Sales, Marketing, and Web Design. The Accounting Department controls the finances of the company. The Human Resources Department has the responsibility of keeping all employment records including time sheets and wage information. |
The Administration Department is in charge of all communications for
the company, including the company newsletter. The Marketing
Department determines the products, logos, pricing, and marketing
strategies. The Web Design Department creates and maintains the web
site and helps produce print media for the company, including the
catalog, while also handling tech support.
